“ This place is so cute, homey and clean. It's the first time I had ever heard about this place and was in Pacific Palisades for work today. I Googled for food around me and saw this and went. I had the California Burrito with Carnitas and it was massive and very good. A little size of chips came with it also. They had a large menu and honestly everything looked great. My food came quick, hot and super delicious. If I'm in the area again I will definitely be going back. I love finding new places that are tasty! Win/Win!!! ”
“ We heard great things about Benny’s tacos and we wanted to give it a shot. My partner and I travel the world to try tacos, and boy were we floored. We ordered just a snack because we were on our way to grab food at another spot. So, we ordered 4 fish tacos and the barbacoa. The wait was a little long. But we were patient. The staff were super nice and working hard. Everyone on deck had a job to do to keep the business running smoothly. My boyfriend almost always gives any barbacoa taco a 7/10 rating. However, he said this barbacoa taco was the best he ever had. 10/10 hands down. The flavour the sauce the meat, everything was on point and he can’t wait to go back. I loved the fish tacos! They were jam packed with crunchy fish, a mountain of toppings. It’s not a taco that you want to look cute eating on a first date. This is a taco that you devour and not care what’s all over your face because it’s exploding with flavour and you’re lovin’ it. I gave 1 less star on the atmosphere only because it was pretty chilly outside and we wished the heaters were on to enjoy our tacos a little longer. (I’ll be back to take better photos of the the tacos I promise) Update: came back for another round, and they were just as good as the first time :) ”
“ I always drive by Benny's tacos strolling down in Santa Monica, and something about it always stands out. It's yellow signage is a given, but it just looks like an authentic, cheap Mexican joint that speaks to me. Rolled up on a Friday night and it was pretty mellow around the store front. Mostly outside seating and not many patrons, so ordering and receiving the food was quick and easy. I was debating between a burrito and the taco plate. Asked the cashier his recommendation and he made the wise suggestion that if I was really hungry, I should go with the burrito, but for a quick bite to go with the tacos. Safe to say he was right. On the contrary, the taco plate is still a larger portion than I anticipated. I had two carnitas tacos and boy do they pack them with a ton of meat here. I was only a little hungry, and this meal made me more than full. On top of the tacos, the beans, rice, and side of chips make up for a pretty extensive plate - all for just over 10. Competing with a variety of other Mexican restaurants in the Santa Monica area, I would suggest Benny's more than most in part to their reasonable prices, high quality food, and friendly service. And I'll definitely be returning soon to try that big burrito. Taco plate ”
“ My first time. I had fajitas with grilled fish and shrimp. Great flavors. It is more Mexican/American. Meaning not the spice that i would like or even having a few serrano peppers on the side of habanero salsa. Their salsas are mild. But fajita and fish seasoning is great. I wish I could have taken a pic but my phone needed charging. Great place to try for a good quality Mexican American style place. Relaxing outdoor seating. Quality 10/10. Portion size 10/10. ”

The nachos are delicious and the portions are very generous. They have so many options and always aim to please. Parking and indoor and outdoor seating make this such an easy and fun destination. ”
